Statement from the International Association of ESD Professionals (IAESDP)  - International Association of ESD Professionals

Statement from the International Association of ESD Professionals (IAESDP)

As we navigate the shifting landscape of U.S. foreign aid, the International Association of Empowerment Self Defense Professionals (IAESDP) stands resolutely by the side of our global ESD community, that has been directly affected by any financial short comings. We understand that the freeze and potential withdrawal of funding from USAID and other US-based sources may feel daunting, but together, we will rise and #FightForward to meet this challenge. Our commitment to support you as you empower the world remains unwavering.

In these times of uncertainty, we are dedicated to ensuring that ESD professionals have the support they need to continue their vital work. While we may not possess the financial resources to replace lost aid entirely, we are launching a series of initiatives designed to foster resilience and help you pursue your missions.

If you are directly affected by the USAID short comings, we are offering 20 sponsored memberships – where you can claim exclusive access to essential services, helping you re-build your business, as well as 20 sponsored spots for becoming credentialed ESD instructors. This opportunity enhances your qualifications and opens doors to new professional pathways, allowing you to continue empowering the world.

We believe in the power of our collective voice and will relentlessly advocate for the needs of ESD Professionals on an international level. We are working hard to identify alternative funding opportunities and partnerships that bolster your incredible work.

If you are outside of the U.S. and require our support, please reach out to us directly at team@esdprofessionals.org. We are dedicated to accompanying you as you bring your vision to your communities. Together, we will fight forward.

Thank you for your continuous dedication to the ESD community.

Supporting you as you empower the world.
