Eligibility

Generally, all international members are eligible for discounts. However, people from Tier 1 countries who have relocated to countries in Tiers 2-4 (and are generally paid Tier 1 wages/salary) will be considered Tier 1 applicants.

How to Get International Discount

To apply for the discount, please submit an Application. No documentation is required. Association staff will respond to all applications via email. If you qualify for a discount, the email will include a discount code you can apply when you register for membership. Qualifying members may be asked to reapply in subsequent years.

Why International Pricing

The Association is offering tiered pricing for our international members in order to make membership more accessible. Discounts are based on an index of per capita GDP (gross domestic product) and PPP (purchasing power parity) for 216 countries, island nations, territories, and other autonomous areas.

A Note About Languages

The Association will be making efforts to translate our materials into languages other than English in 2022. Until we are able to do that and if we do not have the information you need in your preferred language, please notify us at hello@esdprofessionals.org and we will do our best to get you translated information.

Financial Assistance

Applicants who have household incomes of $40,000 or below will qualify for a $125 discount on membership dues. Annual dues are $200 – with the discount, you will pay $75. Amounts are in US dollars.

Household income below $40,000 is a little bit more than 300% of the U.S. Federal Poverty Guideline for 2021.

International Tiered Pricing

We are offering tiered pricing to account for varying costs of living around the world. Apply with a quick & easy Application. Dues for eligible members in Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 countries pay reduced dues, as follows (figures are in US dollars):

Tier 1 – $200 (full dues)

Tier 2 – $150 dues ($50 discount) for applicants in countries with per capita GDP-PPP below $40,000.

Tier 3 – $100 dues ($100 discount) for applicants in countries with per capita GDP-PPP below $20,000.

Tier 4 – $25 dues ($175 discount) for applicants in countries with per capita GDP-PPP below $10,000.
